Choreo Theatro is a complex venue that consists of a system of spaces which aim promote and nurture various artists, both at a local, national, and international level. Choreo Theatro’s spatial configuration will allow for maximum interplay between artistic disciplines, and it will offer our audience the unique opportunity to experience the performing and visual arts in close proximity to each other.
This interdisciplinary center will help attract further activity to an already rapidly developing waterfront community in Greenpoint. The participating artists will find a home to develop and showcase their work, rent and convert film/studio space at the heart of a vibrant, historically rich and culturally diverse community.

Restricted Gifts
These gifts fund specific projects or materials that Choreo Theatro needs in order to become a state-of-the-art center. If you choose to support us in this way, depending on the amount you contribute, your name will be included in our promotional materials for a negotiated and determined amount of time. Name-A-Seat Contributions
Another way of helping us configure our performance space of 382 seats is to pay for one! If you contribute $10,000 toward a seat, your name will be artfully carved on any seat you choose, provided that it is available. Additionally, you will be given a Special Patron Pass, which will enable you to come to any performance within 12 months of the date of your contribution. Unrestricted Gifts
These gifts are allocated according to the financial priorities of Choreo Theatro Center and its Residence Company. These funds may be used for anything ranging from administrative expenses to research toward creating community-targeted new programs.

Unrestricted gift donors will receive a permanent plaque (Bronze Member and higher) or engraving in our benefactor wall with your name and the amount of your contribution, unless you decide to donate anonymously.

‘Embrace a Performer’ Contributions
It is not a secret that performers are often underpaid, not because they do not deserve to be paid more, but because there are not enough funds to help them flourish through better compensation. All funding received under this category will be evenly distributed as payments to Choreo Theatro Company’s performers for their beautiful, honest and hard work.
Choreo Theatro Center is a New York State not-for-profit organization recognized as tax-exempt under IRS section 501(c)(3).
